What to Wear for Tree Farm Photos

Wardrobe is a big part of the feel of these sessions, and I always encourage families to choose outfits that feel comfortable yet pulled together. Earthy tones, deep greens, creams, soft browns, and rich reds work beautifully against the evergreen backdrop. Layering can also add depth and texture. Think of adding cardigans, scarves, or a cozy knit sweater.

For little ones, keep it simple and let their personalities shine. If they’re comfortable, they’re far more likely to relax and have fun, which always leads to better photos.

I provide all my clients with a style guide before their session to help narrow down choices and coordinate looks without feeling too matchy-matchy.
